Yoga Asana Southampton

When you attend one of our classes at Satazure, you will learn all the major asanas of yoga. Learning these poses, and their benefits for the posture, mindfulness and wellbeing of the individual. With proper breathing in these poses helps promote positivity, relaxation, and rejuvenation of our bodies.

Beginners' yoga classes

The yoga asana class begins with learning the core yoga poses. The Mountain Pose, the Child Pose and the Tree Pose, for example. After three or four classes you will be introduced to breathing exercises, short meditation, and further asanas. My classes also employ positive affirmations and self-help techniques, to help clear the subconscious from negative beliefs and replace them with positive ones.

This is a standing, balanced pose, where the practitioner rests one foot against their leg while standing, and remains steady while breathing.

 Corpse pose (Savasana) yoga

This resting pose is intended to enhance concentration and breathing, and is commonly used to bring a class to a close, enabling you to gather your thoughts and meditate.

This gentle resting pose calms the mind, and stretches the hips and lower back, relieving tension in the body and the mind.

 Triangle (Trikonasana) yoga
